How accurate is it?

The positions of the Sun, Moon and planets are calculated from astronomy data and checked against professional software, so your signs and rising sign are computed correctly. What a sign or planet means is a matter of tradition, and the texts are written by an AI service as gentle suggestions. Use them for reflection and entertainment, not to decide anything about health, money, law or relationships.

Why does it ask for my birth time and place?

To work out your rising sign and houses. Without them you still get your Sun, your planets and your Moon sign. If the Moon changes sign on your birth day and you do not know the time, the app tells you the Moon sign is a best guess.

My chart looks different in another app.

Astralune uses the Western tropical zodiac and Placidus houses (it switches to equal houses very far north or south). Other apps may use other house systems, or a sidereal (Vedic) zodiac, which changes the signs. A few minutes of difference in birth time, or a different city, can also change the rising sign.

Is my birth data sent to you?

No. Your birth date, time and place are stored only on your phone. When you ask for a reading, the app sends chart details such as “Sun in Leo, 14°” (not your birth details). See the privacy policy.

I used up my free readings.

Each device gets a few free personal readings and tarot readings. The daily horoscope, the Moon, the card of the day with its meaning, and the library of all 78 cards stay free. Unlimited readings need a subscription.

How do I restore a purchase?

Open the app, go to Settings, and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple ID you bought with.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Astralune and tap Cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can also tap Manage subscription in the app Settings.

How do I delete my data?

In the app, go to Settings and tap Delete my data. This removes your birth details and saved texts from your phone. We do not keep your chart details or readings on our server.

How do I add the widgets or the daily reminder?

For widgets, touch and hold the home screen, tap the + button and choose Astralune (or add it to the lock screen). For the reminder, open Astralune Settings and turn on Daily reminder; if iOS asked for permission and you said no, turn notifications on for Astralune in the iPhone Settings app.
