Privacy policy

The date, time and place of birth you enter, and the name of the city you pick, are saved in a file on your phone so the app can work out your chart. They are not uploaded and are not part of any backup we control. You can change or delete them at any time in the app.

When you ask for a personal reading, the app works out your chart on your phone and sends only the result in a plain form (for example “Sun in Leo, 14°; Moon in Pisces, 3°; rising sign Scorpio”, with the aspects between planets) over an encrypted connection to our server (hosted on Cloudflare). Our server passes it to an AI service provider (Anthropic) that writes the text and returns it. This is not your birth date, birth time or birth place, but a full chart is personal to you, so we ask for your agreement before the first reading. We do not store the chart details or the reading. The AI provider processes the request under its own terms. It may keep it for a limited time (currently up to 30 days under its standard commercial terms) for safety and abuse prevention, and it does not use it to train its models.

If you type a question for a tarot reading, it is sent in the same way as chart details, together with the cards drawn. Please do not include names or private details. The cards are drawn on your phone.

To show today’s horoscope the app asks our server for the text for your sign, in your language, for today’s date. It does not send your birth details. The same text is shared by everyone with that sign, and our server keeps it for a few days so it does not need to be written again.

The first time you open the app it creates a random code and keeps it in your iPhone Keychain. We receive it with each reading request to count your free readings and to prevent abuse. It is not your name, email or Apple ID, and it is not used to follow you across other apps or websites.

When you type your birth city, the text you type is looked up with Apple Maps on your iPhone, under Apple’s privacy terms. We do not receive it.

Payments are handled by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether you have an active subscription or purchase. RevenueCat receives an anonymous user code and your purchase status. We never see your payment details.

We may advertise the app. If you installed it after tapping an Apple Search Ads ad, Apple can give RevenueCat an anonymous attribution token that says which ad campaign led to the install, so we can tell whether the ads work. It does not identify you and we do not use it to follow you across other apps or websites. We do not show ads in the app.

If you switch on the daily reminder, your iPhone shows a short note each day with your card of the day. The widgets show the Moon and the card of the day. Both are made on your phone; nothing about them is sent to us.

Our server keeps basic technical records to run the service, such as the time of a request, the language, whether the person is a subscriber, how long it took, how much the AI call cost, and errors. These records do not contain your chart details, questions or readings. Cloudflare may process your IP address to deliver and protect the service.
